SD DVSDK AM18x Release Notes 4.01 Introduction The spectrum Digital's AM18x Linux DVSDK originated from Texas Instrument's Real-Time Linux SDK for AM1810 microprocessor v4.01. This DVSDK is also supported on spectrum digital's AM1808 and OMAPL138 EVMs.Texas instrument's SDK can be downloaded at http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/linuxezsdk-am1810.html. Difference between TI SDK and SD DVSDK The Spectrum Digital's SD DVSDK has three extra features to it which are not available in TI SDK - Read MAC Address from SPI Flash in uboot. - Read MAC Address from SPI Flash in the kernel. - A sample set of test code installed along with CCSv5 on your linux host. These test cases are scripted to run on the AM1808/AM1810/OMAPL138 evm's via JTAG by connecting the EVM to wither Spectrum Digital's XDS510 PLUS emulator or XDS560v2u STM class emulators. This test code also includes a SPI-Writer to program ubl, uboot and MAC address into SPI-Flash.
